Playing Times:-

From our experience the average ceilidh consists of around 3 hours actual dancing time.  Anything way over this time tends to be physically exhaustive for your guests.

We would recommend that the ceilidh should be scheduled to run for 4 hours (say from 8pm - 12am) with a 20-30 minute break in between to allow your guests (and the band!!!) time to rest and enjoy any buffet which you may have organised.

Extended Hours:-

Under normal circumstances playing times are always agreed in advance of your function.  However the band can consider, at our sole discretion, in extending the evenings schedule at a rate to be agreed prior to play.  Any such request should be made to the band no later than the interval to allow us to prepare appropriate music for the remaining period.
